Strategic Distribution Channel
Strategic distribution is our term for more national companies in scale and is synonymous with national or big-box distribution.
The Strategic distribution channel offered many of the same attributes of Traditional Distribution models with incredibly efficient regional hub and spoke distribution centers. This channel leverages its regional distribution centers to manage supply lines, reducing on-hand inventory carrying costs at the user level. Another attribute of this channel involves various levels of product specialists. This channel is a key element of our manufacturer’s initiatives. Most Strategic distributor’s pricing, inventory, and scorecards are managed by our manufacturers Strategic or National Account Managers.
We implement the developed programs with the Strategic Channel account managers, metalworking specialists, and inside sales specialists.
